Hi Shaun,
I have downloaded OpenOffice Aqua and installed it on leopard. It works very well (fast loading, etc). The only problem I am faced with is using send (documents as pdf, odt, word, etc) command to get mail.app to work. Neooffice worked out of the box. I have tried everything in the tools to no avail. It worked only once after I installed it the first time and was prompted to register and did input the info. Then it stopped. My wife who has Tiger has it working.

Where are user data for openoffice stored for openoffice. I uninstalled openoffice, deleted on org.openoffice preference file in preference. Installed again and was not prompted to register again. Looks like it was capturing old cached data. I cleared the cache of openooffice folder.
