For example, it's been reported that Leopard has some support for ODF baked into the OS. IIRC, TextEdit can read and write ODF.<br/><br/>The iWork team has a history of being really sloppy on standards. Their previous file formats have a) sucked, and b) been poorly documented.<br/><br/>So it seems to me the problem is that management doesn't insist on an open standards policy across the organization.
